Terms of Use & Legal Notices
Effective Date: September 12, 2026Notary Services — Scope and Limitations
A notary public verifies identity and performs authorized notarial acts under Texas law. Notarization does not establish that a document is legally sufficient, enforceable, truthful, or appropriate for the signer's situation. Signers are responsible for presenting the correct document and obtaining independent legal advice when needed. Appointments are subject to signer identity, willingness, awareness, document completeness, and other requirements of Texas law. A notary may decline or stop a notarization when legal requirements are not satisfied.
Apostille Facilitation
Notarize With Angie offers apostille facilitation as a private administrative and courier service only. We do not issue apostilles. Apostilles are issued exclusively by government authorities. We cannot guarantee government acceptance or processing times. Eligibility and procedure depend on the issuing jurisdiction and destination country.
Passport-Related Services
Unless expressly identified as an authorized U.S. Passport Acceptance Facility, Notarize With Angie is not a passport acceptance facility and does not issue passports. Any passport photo or checklist service is a private, non-governmental convenience service. Official passport acceptance must be completed at a government-designated facility.
Fingerprinting Services
Fingerprinting availability depends on the requesting agency and required submission channel. Notarize With Angie does not represent that a private fingerprint service replaces the Texas FAST/IDEMIA system or another mandated provider unless specifically authorized for that transaction by the relevant agency. Clients should confirm required channels with the requesting agency before scheduling.
